Rachel & Tim - Nov. 3. 2007. Chrysler Museum of Art

The Chrysler, its staff and the staff of Cuisine and Company are always a pleasure to work with, so that made designing for Rachel and Tim that much more enjoyable. Rachel wanted simple, elegant designs using classic roses. I designed a nosegay style bouquet of cream and white South American roses accented with crystals. Her attendants carried bouquets of creamy peach colored Osiana roses. Osiana roses have a high petal count and a great fragrance. The stems were exposed and wrapped with a black band a feathers that added a touch of whimsy. Rachel's flower girls carried pomanders filled with Osiana roses and cream roses strung on a white feather boa handle. For the ceremony we placed two of our palace vases at the foot of the impressive Chrysler Museum staircase. The vases were filled with with the South American Osiana roses.
For the reception tall standing tables I accented the centers with juniper cups filled with Osiana roses. Some of the reception dinner tables held silver candle albras with Osiana roses and feathers gracing the tops. Other table centerpieces were classic silver Revere bowls filled to the brim with Osiana roses and accented with feathers. I also filled the room with the soft light of my star votive candles.
Rachel and Tim celebrated the beginning of their lives in one of the areas most beautiful settings I hope they enjoyed themselves! Blessings for their future.
